Eligible Nationalities:
International students from any country with international fee-paying status are eligible to apply for the scholarship.

Applications are welcomed from qualified applicants for the Africa Postgraduate Excellence Award at the University of Nottingham for the 2021/2022 academic session.

Scholarships are being offered towards full-time masters tuition fees for high-achieving international students who live in Africa. Interested African students who are enthusiastic about enrolling for a postgraduate degree at the University of Nottingham are encouraged to apply.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Africa Postgraduate Excellence Award at the University of Nottingham, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be domiciled in Africa
  • Be classed as an overseas student for fee purposes
  • Must hold an offer to start a full-time masters (including MRes) in any subject area at the University of Nottingham UK in September or October 2021.
  • Demonstrate excellent academic and leadership abilities.
  • Possess relevant good grades in their bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
Application Procedure

Interested applicants for the Africa Postgraduate Excellence Award at the University of Nottingham 2021 are to first apply for and receive an offer to study a full-time masters  (including MRes) at the University of Nottingham before applying for this scholarship.
