The Sam and Nina Narodowski PhD scholarships aim to support new commencing PhD candidates through their degree across a range of specific research areas.

One scholarship will be made available to PhD applicants intending to complete research in research in Food Production and Agribusiness, Sustainability and Environment or Clothing Textiles.

A second scholarship will be made available to PhD applicants who will conduct their research in Health Disability and Aged Care, Urban Transport and Social Planning or Migration and Settlement Services.

Sponsor Value

This scholarship is comprised of:

  • A stipend scholarship of AUD$ 33,000 per annum pro rata to be indexed annually.
  • A tuition fee scholarship for successful international applicants or RTP fee offset scholarship for Australian citizens and permanent residents and New Zealand citizens

The scholarship will be provided for a maximum of 3years and 6months.

International applicants should note that this scholarship does not provide visa length overseas student health cover (OSHC).
