The NewCastle University in UK is offering two scholarships under Undergraduate and Postgraduate Scholarships program. Funding support is available to undergraduate and postgraduate for UK, EU and international applicants.
University:
Business School – Directors International Excellence Scholarship
Newcastle University Business School is proud to recognize and reward high caliber international applicants who apply to commence full-time undergraduate or postgraduate taught studies.
Value of award:
50% discount for one year’s tuition fee
Number of awards:
Two awards for Undergraduate candidates
Two awards for Postgraduate Taught candidates
Start date and duration:
September 2021 for one year of study.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for this partial-fee scholarship you must meet the following criteria (Directors International Excellence Scholarship Regulations 2021 Entry 225KB):
- completed the scholarship application form including submitting an essay of no more than 1,500 words in response to the question listed. Submissions need to be in English.
- hold an offer of admission for 2021 entry to one of the specified Undergraduate or Master’s courses
- achieve AAB at A level (or its international equivalent) or hold a UK 1st Class Honors Degree (or its international equivalent)
- hold an English language qualification of IELTS 6.5 or its equivalent with no subskill below 6.0, if your first language is not English
- a national of one of the following countries/regions:
Colombia, Ghana, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Nigeria, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, UAE, USA, Vietnam
- check terms and conditions for eligible programs.

Vice-Chancellor’s Business Excellence Scholarships – Europe
Newcastle University is pleased to offer two Vice-Chancellor’s Business Excellence Scholarships to assist EU students to study an undergraduate degree or postgraduate Master’s degree in the Business School.
Value of award:
The awards cover full tuition fees.
Number of awards:
Two
Start date and duration:
September 2021 for the duration of your course.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be considered for awards applicants must:
- be domiciled in an EU member state
- be assessed as international for fee purposes
- have been offered a place to study on an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate taught course in the Business School, at the University’s Newcastle city-center campus for the 2021/22 academic year
- already have or expect to receive the equivalent of an upper second class UK honours degree or above for postgraduate awards and a minimum of AAB at A level or equivalent for undergraduate awards
Eligible candidates will be assessed according to evidence of academic ability, evidence of commitment to studies, and quality of application.
