The Bridge scholarship is valued at up to US$4,000 per academic year. All international applicants enrolled in the Bridge program at the Intensive English Institute (IEI). It is applied as a $1,000 scholarship for each IEI session for Fall A, Fall B, Spring A, and Spring B.
The University of Maine will provide the award amount of $4,000 to successful applicants in the USA for the academic year 2022-2023.
International students enrolled in the Bridge program at the English language instruction at the Intensive English Institute are eligible. Students in the IEI Bridge program are eligible for the IEI Bridge scholarship and not for international academic scholarships (International Presidential, Flagship, Dean’s and Maine Global Partner Scholarship). Graduate students are not eligible for this award. Sponsored students are not eligible for this award.
To apply for this scholarship, students must apply to either an undergraduate or graduate program at the University via UMaine Mobile Friendly Application, ApplyMaine Application. Applicants are considered for this scholarship when their application for admission is reviewed.
